Innovation
We are proud to share that we have designed and develop our
own innovations for FTTH in the forms of FTTH Plan and Design
Software and FTTH Testing Switch (FTTH-TS).
FTTH-TS is a portable optical switch which makes it handy for the testers
to perform OLTS and also OTDR tests. The switch will expedite the process significantly
faster than the current manual approach. It also helps to reduce human errors.
The FTTH Plan and Design software is an application software which will automatically develop the BOM and BOQ,
as well as the cost structure. This is based on our network architecture design which includes
Protection scheme, Ready Expansion mechanism and Flexible Expansion mechanism, as well as Monitoring mechanism.
Consultancy
We provide consultancy services which covers all the relevant issues to FTTx. That includes the technology, RoI analysis,
Investment plan, architectural design, deployment plan, dimensioning, specification development, and training requirement
analysis.
Plan and Design
Our plan and design is based on 5 main factors;

All the above is achieved with minimum cost. Using our own developed FTTH Design Tool, we can quickly do the dimensioning,
and identify all the needs, thus the BOM and BOQ. Any change to the design as required by the customer can be easily accommodated.
Active Elements Supply
SigTech is collaborating with leading equipment manufacturers with proven track records for both EPON and GPON technologies.
The solution also includes advanced DWDM-EPON technology which
allows for future proof access bandwidth with a lot of design flexibility to suit to the needs of the telcos.
FTTH Testing Services
With the extensive facilities, we can provide FTTH testing rate of up to 800 ports (or home-passes) per day.
We also provide rental services for contractors for various FTTH testing tools and equipments. We have in-house Calibration
laboratory with ISO 17025 certification to ensure that the equipments are all working within their specifications.
FTTH Training
SigTech provides extensive and comprehensive trainings on FTTH and the relevant technologies. The trainings include
the technology, the active elements, and the passive elements. The courses are designed taking into consideration the
planners' perspectives and also the implementers' perspective.
The training will be followed with an examination certified by Fiber Optic Association of America (FOA).
The certification is known as Certified FTTX Technician (CFxT) which is recognized worldwide.
SigTech has been appointed as an approved school (the only in Malaysia) for FOA certification for CFxT, Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT), and Certified Fiber Optic Specialist (CFOS). SigTech has been providing fiber optic trainings since the last 9 years.
